CLASS PARTY

The year passed so fast and it was the last day of the year. The year was really sad because we didn’t have the chance to go back to school as usual, but gave a lot of experience. The class party was sad one for me because I got to know that my best friends were leaving school due to some unavoidable reasons.

I came to school during the class party to give a good farewell to my lovely friends. I was also having a mixed feeling because that was the day I realized that we will be having a new homeroom teacher. We have been with Ms Shla for some time and I was nervous with whom our new homeroom teacher would be. During the class party, we had so much fun and it was a meaningful get together and a chance for us to play some games and enjoy ourselves as well. Overall, the class party gave me a good experience.

VIRTUAL CONCERT

On Dec 4th, my alma-meter Wembley Academy hosted an annual concert virtually. It was the very first virtual concert and there were lots of performances from every class such as K-pop dance, singing, a short act, traditional performances and piano performance. My favourite performance was a story told and it was acted by Year 8. We gave in all our best that we could for the act and Ms Shla was tirelessly guiding us through to make this into a beautiful act with the limited access and interaction due to being online and carrying it out. This has taught us about creativity and how we can still make things work. This pandemic has brought a whole different perspective into how we do things. I have witnessed tremendous performances from all the students and teachers as well. It was an amazing and successful event I would say.

The concert was tele casted on Microsoft Teams and we were new to it. There were some procedures to follow to get the tickets. Well done, everyone!
