Chinese New Year Celebration In WIS

We had a blast celebrating Chinese New Year at our school on February 23, 2024! There were many exciting things that went on. The organisers were Citrine, and they kept us engage with many activities that were really fun! We did arts and crafts, played games, and even watched an awesome lion dance. Some talented students rocked a dance performance too that captivated the audience, and Tyrell from Year 10 hosted the whole thing like a pro. There was also the Zodiac-themed slide session added an educational twist, sparking curiosity with a flurry of questions.

The best part? My little brother, Brian, and I got to perform the lion dance we’ve been practicing at home. Even though we’re still learning, the cheers from everyone made it feel amazing. I am glad I was given a chance to do with him. It was a super fun day, and I’m really happy I got to be part of our Chinese New Year celebration!
