Field Trip Jungle School

Hi, I’m Chan Fann, and I would like to share my experience from our recent field trip to the Jungle School in Putrajaya.

The bus ride took about an hour,my excitement grew as we approached the wetlands. When we arrived, the zookeeper welcomed us and guided us through the program. The first highlight was feeding the hippos, Baby and Lily, who were round and adorable. Later, only Yu Zher, Haagen, Aryan, and I managed to spot the hidden mousedeer, which felt like a special discovery.

We then visited the crocodile enclosure, where the keeper fed them chicken. Watching the enormous reptiles was both thrilling and a little intimidating. After that, we experienced the “jumping road” and the bumpy paths, which made the trip feel adventurous, as if we were deep in the jungle. The insect zone was another challenge—the keeper asked each of us to catch one insect, and most of us ended up with ants. It was fun, even though it tested our patience and quick reflexes.

The day ended with a meal before we headed home, tired but happy. This trip was unforgettable because it combined learning with adventure. Feeding animals, exploring jungle paths, and sharing these moments with my friends made the experience truly special. The Jungle School gave me not only knowledge about wildlife but also memories I will treasure.
