Field Trip

On the 17th of November, we went for a field trip to the famous aquarium and science centre. Before leaving, we gathered in the school hall at around 8:30 am and organized ourselves into groups, which were assigned to us during the briefing. At 9:00 am, we took a bus and arrived at the aquarium centre nearly half an hour later.

At the centre, there were plenty of unique marine animals in various shapes, sizes and colors, such as the Sand Tiger Sharks, Giant Groupers, Seahorses, and the Green Sea Turtles. We even walked through the 90-metre long transparent tunnel via the conveyor belt to observe the marine creatures. It was so cool!

At the end of the tunnel, we walked for a short while. Then, we saw a gift shop where we could buy souvenirs. I didn’t buy anything as I didn’t bring enough money, so I just waited for my friends while they bought some keychains and plush toys. Before heading to the next destination, we gathered again and went to the toilet.

Then, we got into the bus and rode to the science centre. When we reached, we waited for a short while at the main entrance. Shortly after, we went in and discovered interesting exhibitions such as the Oil Platform, Space and Science Station. The activities throughout the centre really helped to improve our motor skills.

Around noon, we went to eat our lunches at the cafe that was included in our trip. The cafe was quite crowded but I managed to spend quality time with my friends. After that, we went through different areas and saw more interactive games and exhibitions. My friends and I came across the space station and learnt more about our solar system. We also experienced walking along the hanging bridge through the dinosaur exhibition.

At 4:00 pm, we went back to the bus. We finally got back to school an hour later. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience as the field trip was interesting. I’m looking forward for more trips in the future.
